★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Obviously a busy place. Good food . Great friendly staff making you feel at ease. Enjoyed my meal, though different to what I thought it would be but that's what is good about trying different foods ,it the difference in interpretation.

Great seaview location, with plenty of parking. Three of us ordered the same dish... macaroni cheese with a tomato paste ( I can't remember the fancy name they called it). But really that's what it was.
Two friends loved it, I was not too impressed. My other friend ordered duck fat roasted potatoes, it was alright she said. Happy to return and try other meals on the menu. Cheers ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps the southern-most place to dine on the North Island? Incredible views of Island Bay and the South Island outdoors, cosy friendly atmosphere indoors. Known well to locals but a secret find for travellers/tourists! Nice simple menu of fresh local produce and the serving sizes are just right. Most amazing golden poached eggs I've had to date and good local coffee. Open for breakfast and lunch daily (except Monday). Great accessibility options for wheelchair access.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here a few years ago. We had brought my uncle, a terminal cancer patient here. The staff were friendly and respectful. The view was really nice. The food was just right. It was one of our last outings together and the memory of this place still sticks with me. On one of his last days it was a beautiful sunny day. It felt like we were meeting at the end and it was such a calming spot to enjoy one last meal together.
