★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got given a cake from your store a few weeks back and the cake itself was good - not the greatest banana cake I’ve had but still good. Your frosting however is like you smeared some butter/margarine all over the cake and called it frosting? Lol It’s got no sweetness to it and is so buttery it was making my tummy turn, I chucked the rest of the frosting into the bin.??♀️ No negativity here just think you need to tweak it or at least give customers an option to what kind of frosting and sweetness they want when ordering? I personally don’t prefer a frosting that is less sweeter than the cake and I don’t like sickly sweet baked goods, just enough sweetness in the frosting to complement the cake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caker had been on my want to try list for a while. When I found out that they started selling smaller size cake for lockdown, I decided to order one. And yum, it was as good as I expected. Natural taste and it doesn’t leave bad after taste as well. Definitely the best cake in nz so far !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the lemon elderflower cake for our wedding. From the very start, Eli answered all my questions and was so helpful. I wanted the cakes to be sliced so it was easy to serve. They prepared the cake slices and the taste was amazing!!! All the guests loved the cake. It had all the flavors I imagined it would have. A big thank you to Eli and the team who worked behind the scenes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came across The Caker on IG and found their flavours intriguing so I decided to give one of their cakes a go. I have been obsessed ever since! I just knew I had to try all the flavours. Best believe I kept myself busy baking their cake kits through lockdown too. Wasn't good for my waist size but no regrets. Can't express how much I love these guys. So much that I had a wedding cake and a cake banquet for my wedding! Eli you're a star ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only place I will order cakes from for every single occasion!! Can't rave about The Caker enough - the cakes themselves, the service, the quality ingredients used in each bake. Shoutout to Jenna & Eli (and the rest of the team!) for always taking such great care of us!! Yes you may pay a bit more than other places, but you wouldn't put diesel in a ferrari and so you shouldn't compromise on ingredients you put into your body either.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you as well for creating the most delectable Baklava wedding cake for us (and accommodating all the last minute changes brought about by covid). It was so beautifully decorated, a huge hit amongst our guests and catered to everyone's dietary requirements! I look forward to the next family birthday so I can use it as an excuse to try the newest additions to the menu xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was gifted a cake kit and have been hooked ever since. Their cake kits are absolutely amazing and have never failed me. I've tried almost all of their cake kits (haven't tried the new banana one yet).
Recently ordered a black forest cake for a birthday and picked it up from the store. Beautiful cake, was a bit on the dense side but still a fantastic cake. None of the cakes have ever been overly sweet, always balanced just right.
Highly recommend getting their cake kits and trying a few of their cakes. Will definitely be buying more cake kits soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the blueberry, rhubarb and white chocolate cake for my sister in laws birthday and this recieved rave reviews from all of my family who tasted it. It was utterly delicious - moist, flavourful and packed full of fruit. I highly recommend this store for those who want a cake that tastes as beautiful as it looks. If this hasn't yet convinced you, please know that we cut this '24 serve' cake into 16 'wedges' and the whole lot was demolished by our guests ? do yourself a favour and buy one of these beauties asap ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service and amazing company to deal with. We had our wedding reception cake done with The Caker. When compared with other well known cake companies in Auckland they by far were the most reasonably priced and by far had the best tasting cakes. The cake samples were a good size and free!! They had really good communication and the response to my millions of questions were prompt. The wedding cake looked even better than what I expected. They do not deliver but point us in the right direction. Thank you highly recommended.
