★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with today’s service. Ordered cupcakes online last night for pick up instore midday today to serve after hubby’s birthday lunch. Turns out no cupcakes were available for pick up as staff/store not aware of said order. Was offered to pick up cake instead as no refund available. My husband and guests are not very fond of the cake so it was money not well spent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you buy 3 cakes and ask a simple request for the two large ones to be cut in half and have a half of each in each box you would think that would be a simple request. Nope, was informed that the two cakes I was buying would now be 4 halves which they charge out even more for. When questioned why as I was buying 3 whole cakes not 6 halves of different cakes, it was cited labour costs. Expensive cakes and poor customer service. Last time I buy anything from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not happy cake was meant to be dark purple with yellow drip down sides instead looked more pink than purple yellow icing on top didn't match yellow on drip and as soon as cake cut it collapsed. Not happy after paying over $120 for the cake

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered a cake for our girls first birthday worth 80 $. First they call in the morning on same day to confirm when is to be pickedup.. then in afternoon they call and say we made a mistake instead of 1.5 height we did all decoration on 1. Then the lady says we shall refund 30$ back when u pick up. When u go to store the guy argues we said 20$ .
I said firstly u spoilt our cake and made mistake ,then you argue for penny . I felt like throwing the cake in his face but didn't want to spoilt my little ones birthday.
I said from morning u guys have been upsetting.. keep the money with you and just walked with the cake.
They think coz there are only cake maker in whangrei they can do anything . Learn to take order and do them correctly then learn to stick to ur words.
They just loot money and not make any cake worth it..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we have ordered 2x birthday cakes in the last 30 days.
1st cake april 29 was ordered and paid for online 2 weeks prior, went to pick up on the day and they told me they didnt have the cake and that my only option would be to buy one from in the cabinet (which were more expensive and i had to pay the extra cost)
2nd cake went to pick up today...again ordered and paid for online prior, went to pick up and they gave me a totally different cake. when i asked them for the cake i ordered, they realized thier error and then asked me to return a few hours later for my cake. I wnt back at the agreed time...waited ANOTHER 30 mins, and they forgot to do the "happy birthday" message i paid for...another 15 mins they gave me the "completed" cake and the writting looked a mess!! i took photos because i absolutely could not believe it!! the staff were not helpful or evwn apologetic- why accept online orders and the money if you cant deliver what you promise?
