★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been there multiple times over the last few months. My two staples of when I go there is the Iced Coffee and the Gelato they have on site. Both are brilliant and I would recommend them to anyone who has even an inkling of an idea of wanting to go there. The two people who run the place are extremely nice and the atmosphere is wonderful and perfect on a sunny day at Paraparaumu Beach, as it usually is. I could not fathom a cafe in the area that better deserves this 5 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite like this place actually. Might become my new local. Good coffee. I had a savoury scone which was very good. Cabinet food looks great. Friendly owners and atmosphere. Not a noisy cafe like many. A good place to relax and de-stress. Worth a try

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just called into The Common Room looking for a quick (gluten free) lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the selection of delicious GF/DF and/or keto cabinet food. I got a GF/keto mince and cheese pie....it was tasty and delicious! My flat white was perfect too! Lovely friendly people there?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lucky find! Awesome coffee, food and friendly service. My gf friend was over the moon about the selection. It all tasted amazing. The Common Room ticks all the boxes for everyones dietary needs and preferences, which is not easy to find. Everything was 5 stars! Wish we lived closer.

From Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and /or Keto goods to a perfect latté, flat white or hot chocolate be sure to pop in here. Local goodness.
