★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty cool spot me and 6 others staying here. Arrived very late owners had made our beds, fresh milk organic eggs and tea coffee here for us....so welcoming so lovely. Very charming

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Host is exceptional and all (and i mean all) the trimmings are supplied - even down to about 6 brands/types of tea and multiple brands/types of coffee, and drinking chocolate.
Warm, cosy, lounge with woodburner makes for a great winters retreat at the end of day. Bedrooms are immaculate. And the garden is beautifully maintained.
It would be hard to better this place! I will recommend this to all people I know who travel to Wanganui.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little place that's is so comfy for bigger group and so lovely have special extras available, just so sad was working trip and had to spend long days away. and sad had to rush out so early as like usually leave beds stripped etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a lovely batch, wood burner to keep you really warm and cozy if need be, a smart TV that is pretty awesome and loaded with apps for those times you want to chill with a drink. All the comfort and appliances of home while you're away. So peaceful, no road noise, nothing but bird song. The gardens and lawn are immaculate and the swing ball set will keep you fit and laughing. The hosts have set the batch up to compliment your own arrangements while you explore Whanganui. So many things to rave about, the deck, the layout, location which is 10 minutes drive from the city, the shower water pressure ?.
Our long weekend getaway was brilliant and this place ? added to that experience.
