β β β β β If you care about your time, don't waste it with this company. They are so unprofessional you will deeply regret the hour that you spend with them. Recruiting companies usually offer you a bad experience, but these guys are the worst, by far! If you are looking for a job, you expect they try to find you one as soon as possible. Not replying to your emails for weeks is definitely not helping you get hired.
I have only one message for The Creative Store: please, give me my hour back.

β β β β β I contacted The Creative Store around a month before I arrived in New Zealand, hoping to arrange an interview and get some work lined up. After a prompt reply I had a meeting scheduled for the day after I landed. Lou gave me the low-down and had me working within a week - I've been booked out on and off for almost half of the time I've been here (two months) and couldn't be happier. Great communication and no BS. Cheers, Lou!

β β β β β I love working with Louise and the team from The Creative Store because of their dependability, resourcefulness and enthusiasm. I can always rely on the team to help me with finding new and exciting opportunities. Iβve known Louise for many years now and I really appreciate her sound advice and encouragement when it comes to my career and professional growth. The Creative Store team are a positive bunch and are always on the look out for the right fit for you.

β β β β β I've been freelancing with The Creative Store for over 2 years now and can highly recommend them to anyone on the lookout for a responsive and reliable digital recruitment agency. The team are awesome to work with and have consistently gone out of their way to provide me work with some of the leading design agencies in Auckland. I've always found them friendly and professional and have come to rely on their regular job leads and quick response times to any of my questions.
If you're looking for a new job or thinking of trying out a new recruitment agency, I'd strongly suggest giving the guys at TCS a call! :-)

β β β β β I am a senior in Digital Media and had an interview with them before leaving Canada and was told they loved my profile and to pop in to introduce myself and say hi when I arrive in New Zealand. So I did and when I showed up I was welcomed as a very weird person who just shows up and "what do you want" attitude so I left very confused.
Couple months later I was sent many request for freelance but upon answering only one time they answer me back. I went to a meeting with potential client and answer back to the agency to tell them how it went. Never have I receive any news form the agency either positive or negative or any follow up what so ever.
I feel like they just send emails fishing for anyone but actually don't care about the relationship around that. I told them to remove me from their email list as I dont really have time to spare, other placement agencies in Auckland have way better service.
***Update*** After the answer I'm seeing from the Owner of the Creative Store, I am more than convinced that they are avoiding their internal issues with relation to their customer service as they are taking no responsibility as how this company have welcomed me (and other people looking at the reviews) and acted with me. They should definitely read my review twice. I found a role very easily in New Zealand once I stopped relying on them. On that, i'm getting back to work.

β β β β β Went to the interview today but the recruiter sent me the WRONG POSITION and SALARY INFORMATION - waste of time. Gave mixed info who's meeting with just before have meeting too.
The recruiter didn't call back or asked after have the interview, seems like don't care about candidates at all...never experienced with other agencies.
The Creative Store seems very nice and high-end agency, looks flash. But the result was just awful. Just e.mailing for last 2 years, never helped for finding a job. I ended up sign off another contract with another agency. I hope it helps others.

β β β β β A friend sent through details including CV, experience, and their current situation. My friend stated they are currently living in New Zealand, and have been for 2 years, and that they have a 3 year work visa from now.
Despite this, the company replied saying that 'they do not assist people who are not residing in New Zealand'. When my friend replied reiterating that they do live in fact in New Zealand, they never responded.
Clearly didn't read the emails.

β β β β β Seeing some of the negative reviews did raise some concern in reaching out to The Creative Store, but my overall experience with them has been great. I met with Ginnaya for a profiling interview to match my skills with potential roles and she was friendly, warm and informative. I also received information for three roles theyβre currently recruiting for and I look forward to the rest.
