★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super disappointed with Synergy. It seems they aren't capable of handling anyone highly educated like doctors. Every job posted I was interested in Synergy claimed I was inexperienced for, yet when I applied external to Synergy the same jobs agreed I had the experience and interviewed me. Despite a BSc and MBChB Synergy never got me CLOSE to an interview (too busy telling a doctor who has rotated around every specialty in the hospital they "don't have experience in xyz specialty") yet I ended up choosing between two excellent Medical Affairs roles at two global companies known for fantastic culture.
I would highly advise walking past Synergy and just sticking at the job hunt by yourself. Especially if you are highly educated, as they can't seem to understand the value of a degree above a bachelors. I did, against my better judgement, send them another doctor who was desperate. They managed to find him one interview so I'm guessing my gender played into Synergys disinterest as it seems they can see more value in men than women. Since then I've steered most away from Synergy, especially young women seeking to enter medical affairs - you are better off with a saved search on Linked In.
If you do sign up the best advice I can give you is to make sure you let them know of any job interviews you get BEFORE they offer you the job, as apparently Synergy will try get the commission on jobs you found on your own.
