★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had eaten here for a lunch during the weekday a few months back and enjoyed the burrito so recommended it to my partner to eat for brunch on a Sunday. We ordered a taco salad, chips, and a haloumi bagel.
My salad came promptly and was okay, but I would probably not order it again (the burrito during the week was definitely better).
Unfortunately, the staff completely forgot to make my partner's haloumi bagel, so she had to ask to get it after waiting patiently for 20 min, well after I received my salad. The staff blamed it on the till not printing (systems issue maybe) and then apologized.
I think they rushed the bagel a bit too fast as when it did come about ten minutes later the haloumi was undercooked. The bagel was also soggy from the salsa on top.
The chips didn't come until after my partner's bagel; they were undercooked and the kids didn't eat them because they had the worst flavoured seasoning on them I've ever tasted.
Overall, I was not impressed. The meals came staggered and it was not an enjoyable experience. As I wrote this I also feel a bit sick to my stomach, probably from the salad. Given a similar and recent bad review I agree they should consider not serving on the weekends (at least until they sort out the menu and issues). Some introspection is probably needed by the cafe management and hopefully they won't blame me for their poor service and food (like they did the other reviewer).

However the food was very average. “Avocado and scrambled eggs on ciabatta” was in-fact frozen avocado purée with egg whipped up in a microwave with no butter/milk added to it, and cold un toasted Ciabatta. A cafe that can’t make scrambled eggs- interesting. Meow.

Beautiful venue, and hospitable staff! I love the vibe of the cafe and the food is delicious, definitely recommend the nachos when it's open on week days and the breakfast quesadilla for the weekend brunch!!
Also the event space is absolutely gorgeous with all of the lanterns, especially at night, so great place for a 21st and wedding receptions!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were limemortaring for Jason downstairs and he was kind enough to give us all some free food after a job well done. I got a berry smoothie and a avocado bagel with sprouts. Loved it! Avocado was really creamy and the bagel was nice and warm.
