โ โ โ โ โ Delicious 3 Course Meal for $35. Love the food! Especially the Warm Brownies with Ice Cream and Whipped Cream, sorry I didn't take a photo of the desert, my sisters were in a hurry ?. Next time I'll add more photo to this review.

โ โ โ โ โ Highly recommend Essex Arms for Accommodation and meals.
We were treated to some fantastic meals served from the kitchen here that were fresh, delicious and hearty for the winter. The staff were always friendly and as we got to the Venue quite late they were very accommodating. Rooms were quaint, had what we needed, very clean and tidy. Booked for a second and third time for trips to the Waikato area.

โ โ โ โ โ Only go here if you want to wait hours for your food. We got there at 6pm and were seated. They took our drink orders then our food orders and then we waited an hour for our entrees. Then another hour for our mains. The food was good but the wait was ridiculous. Then we all paid and then were told very rudely someone hadn't paid which turned out to be their stuff up. Would not be returning here again.

โ โ โ โ โ Service was great here but waited a long time for food. Would give 5 stars if the wait time wasn't as long as it was otherwise neat place. Fettuccine was amazing n also the burger meal

โ โ โ โ โ Food is nice and priced well. Preeti and Lani give awesome service. Keep an eye on what you get charged at the bar from other staff for your drinks as the night goes on, because it tends to go up in price unexpectedly. Can't get cash out over the bar for gaming, you get sent to the atm that is available in there but you get charged a fee from it to get cash out.
