Don’t bother ordering online ahead of time as they’ll only start making it when you turn up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here a few times now and each time the food has been fresh and nicely cooked. It's in St Heliers so prices are slightly higher than in some parts of the city although worth the extra.
We went there on a busy Saturday evening so there was a 20 minute wait for our order. The staff were friendly and informed us of the delay. We look forward to going there again.
If you are from out of the area then we recommend taking your food up the hill to watch the sunset from above Ladies Bay looking back over the Sky Tower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor quality, very oily, was a large order of which eight items were missing. I called the shop to ask for a refund for the missing items and was given another number to call which is inactive. I do not recommend and won't use again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent fish & chips! I’m a regular customer. Recently I was in Whitianga, in the Coromandel where you would think you’d get the best. The snapper fillet I got was about half the size I get and lower quality (bit older) than in St Heliers, from what is apparently the best fish & chip shop in Whiti. The Fishmonger St Heliers consistently delivers excellent quality and great value! ???
