★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. I came into the store requesting a quote for carpet and timber. The lady serving me was condescending and told me to not waste her and my time as what I had selected was very expensive. Left her with my plans and never received a quote.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happy to recommend the Flooring Centre from my recent experience. I had Jackson in the Blenheim Rd store assisting me with both carpet and flooring tile selections as well as giving helpful advise which I appreciated (as did his female colleague when he was absent and she has great ideas and knowledge too). Jordon was the flooring prep person and Jamie the tile layer (plus did some flooring prep) assigned to my job. How good were they! Wow, 10/10. I was at home in the lounge on installation day so in open plan living was seeing a lot of what was being done. Jordon's hardworking approach and attention to detail in getting my floors prepared as well as humanly possible was really appreciated. I'm in an older house (60's) and its a bit of trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear in some ways, but he really did. This then made Jamies tile laying look all the more impressive. Jamie also is VERY particular. Ive had some fussy friends look closely at the work and everyone agrees its a great job thats been done. Im very very happy with the result and thanks especially to Jordon and Jamie.

We are getting a measure and quote for a new kitchen and dining room floor.
Will update this as job proceeds.
Update
The floor was laid, however we did not expect the substantial variation in the colours of the planks. We were not satisfied.
Having expressed this to the flooring centre, they acknowledged a communication breakdown, and offered alternative designs to meet our wishes.
The new floor is now laid and looks great.
Very pleased with their handling of this issue, made the resolution painless.
Thanks to the team, and I recommend them if you are flooring.
