Terrible, terrible, terrible! From the outset, with a lack of information on their website regarding delivery times and then with the follow through and contact (lack of.) No response to private messages and get this they blocked me for sending multiple messages asking about my order! Called twice, Noone manning their phones and no way to leave a message. No response to my email message. I still dont even know when or if my food is coming ? Go with muscle fuel instead or made by food bag. Soooo much better all round.

Excellent portion size with lots of veges which is great. Taste great. The only downfall is I would like more options please. I enjoyed majority of the meals except the pad thai which was lacking in flavour and veges and the morrocan chicken a bit too spicy for my liking but overall one of the better companies for meals as I have tried a lot of different companies

Customer service doesn't exist and the website is unavailable. I've tried to contact the team to delete my account and query about their AfterPay option (they claimed to offer the AfterPay payment method, but it doesn't work. The AfterPay logo was just for show), but no one has bothered to respond.

Love their food. Healthy, low in calories, high in protein and taste good. Compared to all the healthy food companies i have ordered, this is by far the most affordable, healthy and fresh. The only thing they could improve on, is to add a few more options to choose from their menu and have bar codes on all boxes. You can only scan few of them and it's hard to find them on my fitness pal app to track calories.

To add to all the negative complaints recently, I have to say that this company also rubbed me the wrong way. Their customer service is non-existent (i.e. they don't respond to multiple emails with simple questions), their coupon codes don't work, and the meals don't even taste good. I would let the last point slide (as Musclefuel & Fitfood aren't much better), but it completes the trifecta.

I am recovering from a knee replacement surgery and my friends bought me gift vouchers to use at The Food Company. I am very impressed with the range and variety of meals available. I ordered a few different dishes for my family and was pleasantly surprised to open up my box. The meals are presented well in the individual packaging and with clear instructions of how to heat. I was impressed with the packaging of the box, it was well insulated and included ice packs. These have been recycled in the freezer to use for my recovering knee pain. I also appreciated the communication emails and updates on my delivery. I was delighted when the courier knocked on the door at 7am. Do yourself a favour and order some meals for yourself and your family. They are deliciously tasty and nutricious. I look forward to doing my next order to top up my fridge with another selection of these delicious and tasty meals. The aroma of the food when heating is irresistable I must confess. I also think this would be a great idea for those with family or friends who are elderly or with health challenges. Thank you.

BAIT & SWITCH SCAM!!! Beware! We signed up for a the weekly meal service to try it out. The meals were average to poor, but if that was all, it wouldn't be an issue - you have to try these things to know. The real issue came when we tried to cancel the subscription. YOU CAN'T CANCEL until you have had at least 3 deliveries!!! This should be mentioned clearly on the order page. Instead they have buried it in the terms and conditions. Imagine trying to buy a TV, but in the terms and conditions they are saying you actually also have to buy the lounge suite as well. If you sign up for this service, just be aware you are committing to purchasing at least 3 weeks worth of average meals for a total cost of nearly $420.00

EDIT: they keep deleting my review :P I'm really disappointed in this experience. I had been trying to contact them all day to tell them they have the wrong address for some reason. When I filled out my order, I put a different delivery address. And they've used my billing address instead. I don't know how this happened because my order had the correct delivery address. I had been tracing the delivery through the courier and for some reason they weren't even able to deliver it to my billing address. It came up as "non delivered receiver unknown at address". And it ended up sitting in a courier depot. So I had to pick it up (and hoped the food hadn't spoiled). How on earth did The Food Company get the delivery address wrong when my order and my email has the correct address? However, I won't be recommending The Food Company for the fact they are completely disregarding emails, they're not able to be contacted by phone and they got the delivery address wrong. I wanted someone to contact me about this mess as soon as possible to discuss how I can be compensated for delivery charges. They refuse to acknowledge any of my correspondence to them about the wrong delivery. They won't answer emails, or answer the 0800 phone number they have on their Facebook page, or reply to the Facebook messenger app they have. I can see that they're looking at the emails and the app, but they refuse to answer me. I wanted my $18 delivery charge back because of the mess of the delivery, but they refuse to answer me. Don't order if you want good customer service if something goes wrong.
