The Walrus Gallery and The Frame Shop were originally established in 1997 and subsequently developed an admirable reputation with both connoisseurs of visual arts and people who recognised their memorabilia was its own form of art, their pearl, that needed to be protected and displayed.
This tradition of combining a gallery exhibiting the best of New Zealand and International art with professionalism in the craft of framing and presentation is one that we are proud to maintain as we take our business into the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had a very large silk scarf framed here, and the result is amazing. A tricky job, involving hand sewing the scarf to the backing, could not have been done more professionally. And the customer service was second to none - they even picked up the scarf and then delivered the finished piece to me. A tiny problem (which was really my fault) was fixed without stress. Thank you very much Walrus!

But if you care about displaying something you love in your house or office you need to go to Frameshop or Walrus Gallery. High quality, good service, and reliable work. They will give you expert advice and you’ll be happy with the workmanship and pleased to display. Museum quality!!!
