The Hori Gallery - The Hori Gallery 84 Moana Street
This anthem design was a 6 year collaboration with my brother from another mother Nick McFarlane. Our whakaaro was for him to do the pakeha words of the anthem and me the maori words. I think it is fitting that he did the white kupu or words in te ao maori represented by te po (darkness) and i did the black kupu in te ao pakeha. We both represent that ongoing partnership between our worlds, as we are maori and pakeha artists i feel we need to share parts of our culture and that there is a partnership between both worlds and hopefully this will bring more understanding.

I have traveled New Zealand looking for authentic New Zealand art and this haven in Otaki provides the most progressive, informative, historical, socially informed concepts.

You're a top man. Those face masks I purchased will be a hit in New York.
