Best Indian restaurant in Richmond, high quality food with friendly service and well laid out seating and plenty of nearby parking.

I visited today and it was a fabulous experience. Guy named Mukesh was so friendly. I was confused about what to try. He suggested me fish masala to try with naan. It was really good. Thanks to Mukesh for suggesting me a good dish.

The best Indian food we have ever had! We got takeaways and were delighted by the very generous portion sizes and delicious curries! Would highly recommend!

Such delish food at a great price. You wouldn’t think you’d get full by size of the serving but it was just right. The garlic naan and cheesy garlic naan were fresh and a delish accompanying side to the meal. The mango lassy is by far the best we’ve had in a long time. Great place and is definitely going to be our regular

Upon leaving I was asked to give a review on Google maps "it would really help us out..." But to be honest, I don't think they really need much more help. All the low scores are from well over a year ago and all of the most recent scores are four stars and above. I was the first one through the doors as far as I could tell, asked to dine in on my own and was treated with much respect like any other customer. They had a lot of takeaway orders getting cooked and there were delays, but I still felt like I got my entrée and main in an appropriately timely manner. I enjoyed the wait between courses as it helped the entrée to settle and let me reflect on the flavours. One takeaway customer later on looked really disappointed with the delay, but at one time there were 5 takeaway orders, plus my main being cooked - I bet there weren't 6 cooks out the back each doing a meal themselves! I would rather have the perfect Indian curry after a long wait than a badly made curry rushed to me!! Anyway, my Tandoori Mushrooms, a little on the burnt side, were still hugely enjoyable and served still sizzling hot on the plate. The Bhuna Gosht served with rice was cooked to its tender beef description, and the medium hot chilli had been cooked thoroughly in the curry allowing it to blend in with the flavours, and not burn my throat with the harshness of chilli powder that only gets added at the end. I highly recommend this meal as something different and very tasty! The majority of takeaway orders that night were Butter Chicken - obviously a popular choice (if a little boring). The only complaint I have is I wish I and the other dine-in customer had been asked if we wanted music on, because I didn't, and the other customer didn't either and left without ordering. But to be fair, it wasn't too loud and I quickly got used to hearing Indian Popular Music in the background (it was via YouTube on a screen above counter). I also wish I had taken a seat further away from the counter where all the takeaway customers were congregating. But, I was not to know this Thursday night was going to be busy! All in all, an excellent experience with polite and attentive customer service, very tasty curries, and prices that mostly stay under $20 ranging from $17-$19 - excellent value! Will be back again (but need to do some fasting first to let my stomach make some room...) Thank you to the chef/s and staff working hard to make a magnificently authentic Indian Curry here in Richmond New Zealand. ❀️?

We booked for 8 people on arriving no greetings, no one telling us where to be seated and no one came to take drink orders, they were more interested meeting takeaway customers. When they finally took our drink orders 25 minutes later and at the same time we ordered our entrees they turned up with half the entrees as forgot them we had to re approach them that they missed half the entrees no apologies was given. Ordered our mains seemed rude and not interested. The mains were good food was lovely. When I went to pay for bills staff were not interested was too busy watching a movie with head phones on
