★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Of all the Indian Restaurants in New Zealand, this one has the most tasteful decorations. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was really good. I have to say that this was positively the best experience in an Indian restaurant in New Zealand for me personally. Thank you to the owners of “The Indian Kitchen Restaurant “for making this such an excellent experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Below average and disappointing dinner tonight, have noticed a reduction in quality over time and tonight’s meals are the nail in the coffin.
Can’t be sure but the volume of water appearing on our plates could lead one to think we’re eating microwaved reheated portions, certainly not the wonderful Rogan Josh we used to enjoy, and the butter chicken much the same lacking flavour and lots of water in the bowls.
Come on TIK you used to be bloody great…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having supported this establishment for a good number of years , it is disappointing to experience how they have gone downhill over the past few years. Clearly loyalty means nothing to this business. We purchased there $5 txtd promotional butter chicken deal just to find on arriving home that the meal literally was a bowl of curry Gravey. This is a dishonest ploy by this retailer to flees customers ( image attached). we returned the curry to the retailer for a refund. Interestingly they were happy to do a refund without offering up the full product as normally provided. Disappointingly how this business can get away with bait advertising of this nature.We will not support such a dishonest trader.☹️, the public will vote with there wallets.
