★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A huge thank you to my tutor Sophie and to all the online community at IDI for their support and encouragement.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this course and how easily I have been able to fit it in around my other commitments.
The course modules are well presented and packed with information and beautiful photographs which make it easy to keep motivated.
The Facebook community has been invaluable with their generosity with their postings and sharing of information. I couldn't have completed the course without you!
I was very fortunate to have Sophie Seegar as my tutor. She has encouraged me, inspired me and motivated me. Her feedback has been wonderful and I have looked forward to the extras she has included to help me expand my knowledge.
I now have a broader understanding of the world of Interior Design and look forward to continuing my journey and applying these new skills.
I would recommend IDI to anyone thinking about learning more about Interior Design- just go for it! You won't look back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This course has been amazing in all aspects, from the information supplied in each module, the on-point assignments, the really helpful and encouraging Facebook community and my very supportive tutor Sophie Seeger.
I have always had an interest in Interior Design and this course has enabled me to gain the confidence and knowledge to pursue a career in the industry.
The 12 modules cover a wide variety of interior design, they are relatable, well thought out, easy to understand and will act as a very useful tool for future reference. I enjoyed all of the assignments, some were more challenging than others but if I ever had a question or wasn't too sure about something I would message Sophie and she would come back to me with an answer. At the end of each assignment, she would send me an overview of the assignment, constructive feedback and also some really helpful notes that I will make into a file for the start of my "Interior Design Bible".
I found it great to be able to have the flexibility to study online at my own pace and know I had the support from Sophie when I needed it. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has a passion for interiors.
Thank you IDI and good luck to anyone who's about to embark on this course!

I enjoyed the fact that I could set my own pace and change it accordingly to my work and family commitments. I am feeling confident about my next steps into an exciting ever-changing industry and have a clearer idea of how I need to structure my business and how I want to operate as a contemporary design studio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great course for anyone interested in interior design or homeowners. You don't have to be seeking a career in interior design to get a lot out of this course. Each module breaks down one part of interior design, ie colour, lighting, furnishings etc and explains in detail the science behind it, or why it 'works', so that by the end you will have confidence in undertaking an entire house interior design or renovation project with real-life clients. The 'go at your own pace' study is great for being able to work full time and still have a balance between study/work/social life as well. The tutors offer really detailed feedback on all assignments which is where a lot of additional learning happens too. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in interior design. Five stars.

It was incredibly accessible and fun and I could work at my own pace which was ideal for our busy household. I gained invaluable knowledge and skills and it reinforced my love of design and desire to be a part of the industry. It has given me the ability to move forward in the field and confidently call myself an Interior Designer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started this course one year ago, with the motivation to do something for my personal development. I took my time with each module really trying to push my learning to the edge.
My favourite module was the History of Style, Decoration and Architecture the research for me was fascinating.
Covid ended my Travel Specialist career and I started to study for the 1st time in 27 years with a busy family, lifestyle block and several part-time jobs. Midway through Module 6, I was offered a position as a full-time Operations Assistant in an established interior design company and I credit some of that success to being enrolled, showing commitment I wanted to learn the trade, not just a follow a hobby. And I love my job.
Once in my new job, I could relate many of the modules and the content directly to my work and see it daily from architecture styles, design principles, textiles and fabrics, art, all the way to clients and suppliers.
The course is relevant, up to date and helpful. I'm very satisfied with my progress and proud of the many things I have learned along the journey. Especially my growth with digital technology. Kim was my tutor and she was responsive and gave me in-depth feedback on each module which I appreciate and think of often within my job.
This has been an excellent course for me and I would recommend it to anyone who is researching an online Interior Design Course. Bay of Plenty, NZ
