β β β β β This vet clinic went above and beyond for my 5month old border collie pup when we both got hit by a car on foot. They were very vigilant and took the best care of cody and were in frequent contact with myself and my family so we knew he was in good hands. I would recommend this place to everyone!

β β β β β Incredibly friendly and professional at the same time. We have been taking our cats to see Kathrin and the rest of the team for a number of years now and we are always impressed with the quality of their care. Excellent communication and follow up if required. Would highly recommend.

β β β β β Came in with two bunnies which we had concerns over their health. We had in mind that they were not going to make it and speculated it was a certain disease. We came to this Vet expecting for there to be a diagnosis of the conditions for our bunnies as we would provide symptoms and have them checked up.
Overall the veterinarian was very lovely in the way she treated our bunnies and helped for the checkup! However, our expectations were not met and at the end of the day there was no diagnosis of what the bunnies had due to a 'lack of knowledge'. Within 2 hours of the visit to the vet one of our bunnies had passed on and we do not blame the vet for it but we are disappointed for the lack of expertise for bunnies. Learning from their death we had then diagnosed our other bunny's condition was "snuffles" and if provided antibiotics, we could have at least increased the chances of her survival. But the veterinarian had charged us around $150 for food sachets and medicine to get the gut moving for our bunnies, but because this was not the condition our bunnies had, it was redundant.
We are appreciative that the vet was thoughtful because they did not know their condition, but if there had been a proper diagnosis and the correct antibiotics given to treat the condition we could have helped our bunnies or increased her chances of survival. For feedforward, please learn how to diagnose the conditions of rabbits because that's what you guys are here for! :) Unfortunately our second bunny passed away few days after the visit and now we have all this medicine for the wrong condition and for no more bunnies. We had speculated that they were not going to make it but wished we were charged for painkillers instead. Money can always be earnt again, but our bunnies lives cant come back. Expensive visit for the very little information to help them. Probably a very nice vet to go to for cats and dogs, just wished more was done for rabbits as well.

β β β β β The staff and owners here are fantastic. They treat you better than family. The animals are well cared for from the minute they come through the door. Any cat staying in the cattery gets lots of love throughout the day.

β β β β β Terrible place, I never ever in my life abused anyone or been accused of doing so. It was really shocking that business can accused somebody like this - I questioned their practice but abused a staff??? I emailed them twice only not even called or had actual conversation. Not sure what can be done on defamatory claim as this is extremely disturbing. I would not go there again or if you are go please check for alternative option for prescription. They charged almost three time over the price of boxed medicine (not antibiotics or similar that goes by tables and can be expensive or imported) that you can order from any Vet shop with prescription. Easotic Ear Medication 10ml cost 38$ from the Vet shop and Ellerslie charged us 88$. When I questioned them - explanation was they provide advice on how to use it and monitor health of the pet but they also charged consultation fees for each visit so it does not sound honest to me. Very dishonest practice. My last visit there.

β β β β β The best vet clinic that I have come across. I have a cat that suddenly stopped eating and he is also a very timid cat. I brought him to the Ellerslie Vet and was very worried about him staying there overnight for the first time since I adopted him. When I went to pick him up 3 days later, he appeared to be content and yet was happy to see me. It is so good to see my fur baby is recovering well and what a relief. Huge thanks to the team who are passionate , caring and have kept me well informed through the process. I would give them 100 stars if I could.

β β β β β We couldn't have had a better experience & were so blown away by the true care, compassion and just all round expertise. The kindest people you could meet, who truly care about both pets and people that walk through the door. Going above and beyond for us & we couldn't be more thankful for the care of our girl Manchester and her four kittens. Couldn't recommend more highly. - Stephan & Nakita

β β β β β The last four months have been incredibly sad as we have had to farewell two deeply loved furry members of our family. One was anticipated but the second was completely unexpected. In both instances the team at Ellerslie Veterinary Clinic treated us with patience and understanding. The respect shown to our animals before and after by Dr. Emer will always be remembered and the care and compassion of all the staff during such sad times, always appreciated. Our wee friends were treated with expertise and care in life and in death.
