About The Junction
The Junction Zero Waste Hub is where items placed in household recycling bins are separated, bailed, ready to be transported off-site, and transformed into new goods.
The site is owned by the New Plymouth District Council. EnviroWaste is in charge of operations, and Sustainable Taranaki runs the education space and tours as part of The Junction - Zero Waste Hub.
Wise Charitable Trust partners with Sustainable Taranaki in the education of the public around reducing waste, recycling, and up-cycling where possible, and they are in charge of the Junction Reuse Shop.
