★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our host was attentive and made sure we had everything we need and was ready to offer suggestions on where to go and eat. We had a room on the ground floor. It was clean but overstuffed with nicnacs, throw pillows and other decorative things which did not add anything to the room. The real down side was how the definition of “private bathroom” was stretched. There was a bathroom and it was ours but we had to cross the dining room to get to it. Being no fan of saying hello to strangers before I had a chance to shower it really was a downer for me. Breakfast was decent (juice, drip coffee or tea, cereals and toasts) but lacking in protein.
Overall for a one night stay it was OK and location was convenient for us. Our host definitely did her best to make our stay the best she could which is a real redeeming quality for the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a memorable stay! Manor was amazing, enchanting & so cosy. Liz was a fantastic host. The beds were so comfortable. Our rooms were so warm & inviting. Our son loved it so much too, especially the breakfast. Well worth the money, thanks Liz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The property is managed by Liz Heeman and she is a wonderful woman, very generous. The property was neat and clean and our room was an extravaganza affair and was full of royalty. The garden was beautiful and well maintained. The stay was a pleasant experience.
The only con was a bathroom was not attached to the room.
