★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite restaurant on Waiheke. The food is great, the prices better than average and the staff are very friendly. They offer a range of pizza, but offer other delicious dishes also. My favourite is the roast lamb shank. Awesome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is truly a gem. Service was excellent, atmosphere was really cute, and happy hour prices were super reasonable. But the best part was the pizza. Truly the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. Wish we were locals--we'd be there constantly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A group of us enjoyed a meal here tonight for dinner and we were so pleased we chose The Middle to go to. I had the small ribs and it was so delicious and filling. The team were friendly and had great service and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Lamb Shank, Loaded Wedges, Chicken Curry and Beef Burger. All were superb, albeit the beef burger a bit too spicy. Can’t say the drinks were great - tuatara beer was terrible and was expecting that the lemon lime and bitters would be made in the bar rather than out of a bottle. Decor was brilliant though.

Staff were lovely too as we sat and had a beer while we waited for our order. Would like to try the curry next time for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose The Middle because we heard the pizzas were awesome, but once here my husband was swayed by the Malaysian Beef Curry which by far has to be the tastiest curry I have had in the Auckland area! I had the Trigg Pizza which was really tasty and light and a good kids menu
Too. Great wine list. Definitely recommend, funky setting with very friendly staff.
