★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived early (to escape the wet and blustery weather) deciding to wait out at the bar; no problem a table was available and we moved on to the food and celebratory drinks. It was was delightful, fresh and tasty food delivered by wait staff who knew the menu to a tee and were most attentive. A great luncheon leaving us most satisfied. Will be back with friends to share the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was amazing! Best oysters ever! Linguine was cooked to perfection and tastes were great. Only slight downside is where we sat was a little cramped and the wait staff rushed us a bit. We just wanted to sit and have a drink and they wanted to get our food order in. My entree arrived before my cocktail, so timing wasn't great. after that it was fine.

Very helpful staff. Lovely food. Lovely location on the balcony looking over bay.
Closed early - staff were stacking chairs as we finished our drinks around 22.15.
All in would definitely go again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been going to the Oyster Inn for a few years now as our special treat, because it's so close to central Auckland but feels like another world. It's always been great, but last night we had one of the best meals we've had: everything was presented beautifully and tasted amazing, and serving sizes were perfect for a three course meal. It's an unpretentious place with top notch food and service, can't recommend it highly enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing place to eat! The whole experience was fantastic. The service was amazing, the wait staff didn't miss a beat and made us feel very special. The food was some of the best we have ever eaten anywhere! Overall, we couldn't fault it, and only wish that we lived closer so we could go more often.
We also stayed in one of the rooms which was fantastic - breakfast was a delight and Jaimie was exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble and we felt she is an absolute asset to the accomodation side of the Oyster Inn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW what a meal and what amazing service. 5 of us went for a birthday dinner 3 had the snapper fish with romesco and salad and 2 fish & chips it was like the fish was caught just as we walked in it was that fresh! Service impeccable and thoughtful. Couldn't fault anything we highly recommend if looking for a fantastic meal and drinks.
Well done to all the team we had a fantastic evening

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delightful, scrumptious and enjoyable. It was so refreshing and a joy to be served really tasty, unpretentious and honest food. The faultless service was the icing on the cake for me. The small Italian guy who served us was very attentive to detail and always checked on us if we needed more drinks and if things were okay. He explained the menu to us and gave us useful suggestions on what we wanted to have that night. (He would really do well as front of the house.) The pacing or timing of the dishes served was perfect. We did not feel rushed or left waiting unattended. We grazed through the night and left the place feeling excited and satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
