★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extensive collection of Timber milling machinery and local timber history.
I particularly liked the traction engine.
I wonder if an interesting addition would be a display on future green technologies such as wood pellets that will replace coal fired boilers.
What about a return to steam powered saw mills?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice collections of old timbers instruments and saw mills instruments. Some tracktors I never seen before. I love this place for entertainment and experience of timbers systems. But they were closed before 3:30pm that day. So please give them a confirmation call before you go over there. Is they open or not. Unfortunately we didn’t see the inside of the museum houses. We will go again next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great should be on your must see for all the family and take a picnic. Great if kids could see modern equipment at a sawmill so they can compare how hard it would of been for our forefathers. Could do with more information on some of the tools and equipment such as the acetylene gas making gear but well worth the stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're into machinery then it's great, it's great that the kids can climb in and over the big stuff. Would be great if there was a little more interpretation for those of us who haven't worked in the timber industry ? like how did the use that? What was that for?
