β β β β β Four days to get a parcel across Christchurch, and only then because I queried where it was or I would still be waiting. However the lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and kept me up to date with when to expect it.

β β β β β I got a call saying there was a parcel for me to collect. Got to the depot, the doors are locked, notice says phone this number to get access, the voicemail message says Iβm on leave till β¦β¦ Tried the landline it says Iβm in the queue it will take around 10 mins for someone to answer, press 1 to get a call back. Got a call back after waiting 15 mins at the door, the operator says she cannot get through to PBT CHCH either. 25 mins later get a call asking for a tracking number which I donβt have as they called me to come and pick it up. Someone on a forklift asked me if they could help me, I told him the whole stores, not sure if he will be able to help me but what shambles this place is, a big ZERO out of 10 from me.

β β β β β Called the Christchurch depot number to ask about public cash sales shipping at the depot. Got told, sure come on in. Drove across the city to the depot, get there and ring the number. Get told we are closed to the public. What the actual? Its not actually a lock down, why would you close to the public, and give people the wrong information. I even called first to check. Poor service from PBT. Wonβt be back.

β β β β β It's now been over a week to have had a parcel sent from a store in Christchurch, to a house in Christchurch. I've had a parcel delivered from Auckland to Christchurch in two days this week. The best part: I live in the same suburb as the depot, and the store is in the next suburb over.

β β β β β We had two parcels picked up in Dunedin a week ago. We are in Εamaru, an hour away from where they were picked up. Neither has been scanned since they were picked up.
For some unknown reason the best guess is that they have gone to Christchurch. Nobody in Christchurch will respond to our calls, and apparently national customer service has asked them multiple times to look for the lost parcels and there has been no response. By PBT's own admission, the parcels should have arrived to us in a day at most. Given that we're in the midst of a pandemic, we have confirmed with national that yes, there are still people staffing the CHCH depot.
When we call, the party line seems to be "oh well, bad luck" - absolutely no plan in place to track down our high value missing goods.
Absolutely shockingly bad service from all PBT parties but especially Christchurch who appear to be entirely AWOL.

β β β β β These guys are a joke. Found our parcel in the exposed part of our letterbox at the end of the drive after discovering online it had been "Signed as received". We're home all day, all they had to do was come down the drive. We never have that experience with other couriers Clearly they've got no respect for the service they're supposed to provide. Judging by the general comments here, I think companies are crazy to use PBT if they want their customers to keep buying from them.

β β β β β ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE.
Booked to have my parcel picked up for delivery at 9.30am, after waiting a few hours I call them to confirm my pick up and they told me it will before 5pm, I give them another call around 4.30pm to make sure everything is still on track and they tell me it wont be picked until the next day.
Very disappointing, waited all day for a van that didn't show up.

β β β β β 1. Week late on item drop off
2. Finally decides to drop off my package to my shop, doesn't bother to knock or even come in, claims we are closed and takes it back to the depo
3. Have to go get it myself because I cant trust a courier to do their job, very sad.
Please make it possible to have a courier driver retry the delivery that same day. Its already in their van... Would save so much hassle.
