β β β β β We have been several times over the years and at our last visit in January we noticed some improvements. There is no cost to visit The Plains, except if you want to take a ride on the old trains (small cost so is worth the money).
They now have a new Fire Service Museum open which is interesting. All the exhibits are open during the open days so you can spend time looking around everything.
We did like that they now have a coffee cart on site and the coffee was really good too.
