The Sunken Chip - Heretaunga
One of the better fish and chip shops I go to regularly. The fish is always fresh, I recommend either the battered fish (very crispy on the outside) or the crumbed fish, (I believe is a different cut of fish as it's much larger than the batterer but is also beautifully crispy) I recommend you ask the chips to be well done, gives them more a crispy outside and golden look rather than the normally soft and almost soggy you get from most other places. The spring roll is also great.

β β β β β Nondescript local fish and chip shop with an impressive menu array of takeaway foods or meals that seemed very popular with a stream of customers picking up/placing a order. My simple take out of two fish nicely battered, a sausage and a scoop chips was well seasoned and not greasy.
