We were lured in by the pretty alleyway and covered outdoor seating around a weekday lunch, but we quickly realised that this bar feels more like a late night place for the younger partying people to come drink basic beer and dance to the DJ (there was a booth) and all-around be rowdy. Now, it was pretty empty at lunch, but judging by the state of the bathrooms (graffiti and things held together with tape) and just how the place felt inside and the beer selections available (not to mention half of the taps being sold out), we were only really wanting to have 1 pint and be on our way. But, if you're looking for all of the night-time things we personally try to avoid in our years, this place is probably perfect for you.

The burger and fries were delicious! The burger was the best I ever had in New Zealand <3
Vegan Tostadas were good light food.
I ask you to add your restaurant to Happy Cow app. Vegans will be happy.

β β β β β i'm very disapoinment with the quality service and food. I went there for a tekaway veggie and girl in the till told me its gonna be ready in 20 minutes. I came back after 30 minutes and I ask for my burger and one of the waitress told me it's gonna take long because we had a large group. that was not true because the bar was pretty quiet when we ordered. I wait other 15 minutes. I got home I checked the burgers. In my opinion it's the worst burger in town Im very disapoinment with the quality, service and food. For 26 bucks I have better option for less.

β β β β β I wanna thank the lady behind the bar that was able to locate a straw that i could take off site to another business as my mother has a hard time drinking with the shakes. Haven't been here yet but will be returning for a pint as the atmosphere looks great and service above and beyond call of duty.

β β β β β 10/10 recommend to a friend. Beautiful friendly staff. Absolutely delicious vegan tacos. Nice and spicy. Enjoyed every second. Will come back again to try the other vegan items on the menu.

β β β β β Was trying to find a plant based friendly option in Queenstown. Saw the menu outside for World bar and was glad I did. Never would have expected so many awesome vegan options. I loved the poutine and my friend loved the tacos. So unexpectedly good, a happy find. Nice Canadian chap served us too.
