★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of people about walking dogs. Many camper vans and caravans parked up in the areas around the park. Children and parents on the playground. The park had been mowed and was looking tidy. Nice to be by the river. A Christmas party was happening in one area with men in pink tutus and santa hats doing sack races.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great but busy Camping area, loved the large number of spaces and even recognised a fellow Motorhomer friend in amongst it all. Itz a credit to the local council and community to make such a facility available, and at no cost too.
The river was up due to the rain and the road way had a few flooded drains etc but overall it was a great place.
The dump station is one of the better ones I have been too, with room for two vehicles to park side by side, and the toilets in the block behind the dump station were open too, shame the disabled toilet was closed due to vandalism (note on door from council), I highly recommend thisnpark and will be back...
