The whΔnau of Maxina Rangimoeakau thanks Frances Tipene and Sefa Collins for their excellent service during and for the organisation of the tangihanga of our loved one. We loved the Velvet ruffles of the cover over Wi, so much we didn't cover him at all during the time he laid in state at his and Maxina's home. Both Frances and Sefa gave us the time we required, and accommodated Maxina in all her requests. We held the nehu and kai hakari at Tipene Funerals, and bless their hearts for the 100+% awhi they did for us. They had to house about 150 people. They / us / we all made it work. The kai was catered, awesome kai and enough to feed all, but I do think it was a little bit expensive. All that was left from the kai to take home was the dessert. Thank you Sefa for travelling with the whΔnau to Karori, Sharron and I are were absolutely pleased to know that they had someone with them who knew what to do.
