★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The BEST ICECREAMS IN THE WHOLE OF NZ, I kid you not! We just finished having fish n chips at the beach and the kids had a fantastic day, we stopped here and wow great value lovely service and huge ice creams for $2.00 happy kids!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always love coming home to giant Tirohanga ice creams!! We had a 'Kalega' named after a song of local musician Rob Ruha, in which he sings about places on his way home to the East Coast and mentions the Tirohanga ice creams. The Kalega is almost as big as your head..almost! ??Service with a smile too, every single time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ice cream cones are big for what you pay.$2.50 for a kiddie cone of 2 scoops and believe me it's enough although, they do get bigger if you choose to ?? no pics becoz I ate it before I remembered to post lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be a gas station but there are no pumps any more. Does the biggest cheapest ice-creams I've found anywhere around the bay. There are some picnic tables outside under the tree which provides a shady spot to eat your monster ice-cream before it melts. Also does takeaways, general groceries, drinks & snacks, and ice & bait. Good place to stop for a break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop is like water in the desert and when i entered i felt "WOW'". 20+ varieties of Ice Creams and wide range of burgers \ fish n chips options with cheap prices. Infact i asked them - why its so cheap ?.
It has most of the required - day to day groceries, eggs, variety of drinks and it doesn't stop here. Went inside just to buy a drink but ended up with burger , chips , ice cream as well. Lovely friendly people.
