β β β β β Tobys is my local and it never fails to deliver the most delicious fresh fish and chips. I have been going here for ages and last night, as always yummy and fresh. Also the staff are super friendly. Excellent value for money too.

β β β β β It's hit or miss with this Toby's. Lately it's been miss (int he last month). I keep going back because I KNOW how GOOD they USED to be and keep hoping for that again. Their mussels have tasted off, the fish slimy, the prawn batter undercooked & the raw fish sour! I literally vomited. Went in today only to leave empty handed as their customer service was shocking! I stood at the counter waiting while 3 of them stood around the cookers gossiping and laughing. I didn't say anything and just waited patiently. Once they finished, one of them came to take my order only to give me attitude! If anything I should've been the one with the attitude. It is sad as this place was Once was my favourite fish & chip shop

β β β β β Hmm loads of parking always a friendly face. My issue is some of the items they sell. Otherwise a great place. Try the deep fried flounder and the 2 person seafood pack. Fried bread is always on point and their watercress is delish if you're looking for some for your boilup. That's if they have any left lol goodluck

β β β β β Below average food, marred by horrible customer service! Did not appreciate the middle-aged female cook barking at the customers to observe customer limits inside the shop, when the signage about this upon entering the shop was not clear! Definitely need to improve the set up of this, and train staff to manage their temperaments, especially if they're the ones cooking the food -as nobody wants to eat food made by a grumpy cook! DO BETTER!

How dare you sell hard crusty warm pies with such a lovely chowder. What a shame Γ2
So I made my own dam pie, dug out the chowder & stuck it in the fry bread I brought, end result DELISH!
Customer service was awesome though.
