★ ★ ★ ★ ★ World´s most famous RC model airfield, thanks to Bruce´s informative and entertaining videos on Youtube. Sadly I am so far away on the other side of the globe, if it wasn´t so I would have visited this place a long time ago!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live in the UK, and have never visited NZ, but when I do, Tokoroa and the airfield will be number 1 on my list of places to visit. I have always been interested in RC flying, but always from the sidelines, and it was mainly due to my (virtual) visits to the Tokoroa Airfield, via YouTube, and the inspiration from Bruce Simpson, and the rest of the guys who fly there, that i took the leap into participating fully.
South Waikato District Council need to think very carefully about the future of the resource they have in the airfield, which not only provides a base for the local RC fliers, but also the Drag racing Club, and kart & motor cycle racers to name but a few but also brings the local community very much to the attention of the rest of the world. A world that is watching very intently.
If it hadn't been for Bruce and the rest of the guys, I would never have heard of the airfield, let alone the town itself, which brings me onto the subject of publicity for the town. Since the turn of the year, the airfield has been featured in videos, which have received over 3000,000 views, and that is only on one of Bruce's YT channels let alone the ones run by the rest of the guys......MONEY CAN'T BUY THAT KIND OF PUBLICITY!
The local community leaders need to support the airfield and it's users, not discourage them at every turn, as without those users, the publicity and business they encourage and bring to the area, your town would be a virtually unknown little backwater, lost to the rest of the world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ World famous RC Model Review HQ. The best reason to go to New Zealand if you're on the other side of the planet. A big shout out to Bruce, who made this little airfield the most sought after tourist attraction in NZ. Fly on, Bruce!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well Done All!!! This is a fantastic place to fly Model RC when you are in the area. In fact, we made the hop specifically to fly here and I hope to be back real soon. Great place! I'd have never seen the quaint little town if we'd not been drawn to this airfield. Thank You Bruce!!! Fly On!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most fantastic R/C model flying Airfield in the world! I have seen modelers from all over the world come here to fly small electric airplanes up to real Jets! This should really be a historical place in New Zealand. I have watched hours on end of flights from this field on YouTube! The local new zealanders should be very proud to have this old field!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The RC model airplane hobby is highly important. More kids and young people should be introduced to this hobby. It brings with it fun, science and socializing. It's a fine hobby. Therefore this airfield with its friendly and welcoming RC flyers are important for the area - and with YouTube - for the World RC community.

I must say that Bruce & Ron do a wonderful job promoting RC flying in NZ, the council should be very proud to have such awesome advocates for the hobby. A true asset. I wish we had some similar facilities here in Australia which were available to RC enthusiasts.... NZ beats Australia yet again !
