About Rotorua Regional Airport
Blair Simm - Commercial Manager Blair joined the Rotorua Airport in February 2021 as the Commercial Manager, primarily responsible for driving the commercial side of the airport’s operations and its long term master plan.
Before joining the airport team Blair worked in regional economic development in Rotorua, having prior to that spent 15 years in banking and corporate finance in different locations across New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, and France. Outside of work Blair is a keen sportsman, who has unfortunately spent the last 25 years fruitlessly awaiting a call from the Black Caps selection panel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent regional airport. Very easy drop off and pick up. Plenty of parking and taxis service available. Terminal is modern, clean and well connected. Staff are well presented, helpful and welcoming. Check in and Bag pick up is quick and efficient. Boarding is by outside stairs only. Food and drink options are available. All in all a pleasure to fly in and out of this airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very modern style of decor at the airport. Very welcoming and clean. Plenty of seats to wait for incoming flights. Departure and Arrivals well sign posted. Good coffee and array of cakes/snacks etc. Shop sells an assortment of lollies/snacks etc but be warned can be very expensive!

just to share a great result for me. I recently used the long term car park and while i was removing my gear i left my walking pole on the roof of my car at the back. Four days later when i came back it was still there :-) so over all that time no one decided to relieve me of it / restores your faith in human nature
