★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just brought some fish n chips today after the beach, and talk about what a disappointment spending $26 bucks for 6piece of fish, 3 potato fritters, 3hotdogs and 3chips. Worst fish n chips ever. So much batter on the fish and the fritters was like eating crust with no filling and as for the chips well that was OK at least it wasn't burnt. But as for the hawaillian burger I got for my sister, I rather buy that next time as that was more filling and so tasty she said.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here on Saturday with a friend after a swim at Long Bay and was happy to find this place not far from there. We thought the chips here were so amazing, that a 5 star review just had to be made!
Kind staff + the best hot chips in town.
Will definitely come again :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Someone bit my oyster aka partner, gave me a horrible experience because he spat my oyster out thinking it was part of the snapper ??♀️. I was furious!! Lol
Overall the snapper was nice but burnt. To be honest I've had better. Chips we're nice & the deep fried Moro bar for my partner was yum so he says. I wanted to rip his Moro bar up to replace my oyster he spat out lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not really a fan of Fish and Chips but this place is exceptional. My favorite - the chicken burger (and combo) is amazing value, it is almost shocking how good it is for the price. It is a simple arrangement (tomato, mayo, lettuce, crumbed, deep fried chicken) but the result is better than gourmet offerings in Browns Bay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys are awesome! Easily the best fish and chip takeaways I've experienced in New Zealand. (Bold claim, know). We ordered our chips here, then took them to the beach.... After waiting 15-20 minutes for our friends they were still beautifully crispy!
Highly recommend their fish burger... They give you a generous portion of fillet packed inside a hefty bun with fresh fillings ?
I'm always raving about this place!
