I’m a Wellington muso with a passion for mixing, recording, live music and videography. Traveller was created as a mobile business to accommodate for musicians and creatives all around New Zealand.
I grew up in small town Feilding near Palmerston North. While growing up, music was really only present on long road trips up north, listening to Westlife, Backstreet boys and Robbie Williams. Then in high school I had two friends who played guitar and I wanted to jam with them. I didn’t want to be the third guitarist, so I figured I’d play bass! Later I started recording music that I had written and fell in love with recording, mixing and live sound engineering. I’ve been obsessed ever since.

We are so stoked with our video, Karl did such a beautiful job of capturing the magic of our day. We were both a bit apprehensive about being filmed and having cameras on us but Karl is a pro and we barely noticed him. During the bridal photos he didn’t force anything, it was all really natural and honestly felt like he was just another one of our friends!
Karl was great leading up to our wedding too, we had lots of last minute things going on and he coordinated with our photographer to come up with a timeline for us which made our lives so much easier. My only regret is not getting the speeches filmed too!
Thanks so much again Karl, you’ve helped us cement memories that we will treasure forever! ??

It was easily the best money we spent for our whole wedding, and we had so many compliments about how professional it was! It was a bonus that we get to have a HD copy of the ceremony to keep as well. I would highly recommend hiring Karl!

We were blown away with both the audio and video quality of the ceremony, speeches, and first dance and how Karl went above and beyond to edit the multi camera shots together. The highlight video captured everything our day was imagined to be and more, and we are so truly happy with it. We especially love the candid nature of his videography style, just capturing things as they naturally happened. We were very picky with our choice of videographer, and can say without a doubt Karl is professional and talented at what he does.

Right from the start he was super easy to communicate with and listened to what we were after and gave us some great guidance about song choices for our highlight video and what to expect from the day.
On the day, he got amazing shots that we were genuinely so amazed to see because he was so good at blending in with everyone and was super unobtrusive!
We have had so many compliments on our wedding video and we really feel like he captured the day exactly as it was but made it look cinematic and super cool ❤️ We are incredibly stoked with both the ceremony and speeches video too. All of the videos he made for us make for great memories that we can watch to relive the day over and over again.

Sadly, many of our close friends and family were unable to attend our wedding, so it was so reassuring to know they were just on the other side of the live stream and that Karl was able to keep us connected. It was one of the best things we did for our wedding and I would highly recommend Karl to anyone. Karl was also able to Zoom my mum as well as running the live Stream, so we were able to talk to her live after the ceremony, which was very special for us both. We also received the footage of the live stream afterwards and it was so touching to be able to rewatch the ceremony again. Thank you Karl
