Trust House Recreation Centre is now open! Our facility serves the Wairarapa District with aquatic, fitness, sport and recreation services. We are open all year round, with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, waterslides and the Lazy River, a renovated fitness club with new equipment and a purpose-built sporting stadium.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome Centre with a great gym and pool facilities. Do try the hydro slides and the lazy river pool. Be careful with younger kids though as the current is strong in places. Outside pools are great in the hot sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there Friday 21st May. Paid for a hot spa and sauna. We're on a pension, so spa and sauna is pure luxury, not to mention health benefits.
Both sauna and spa facilities were barely luke warm, something they neglected to tell us on arrival though they were very happy to take our money.
The aging spa was dirty, poorly maintained and fast approaching its used by date.
We left disappointed not soon after we arrived.
But I guess that's what you get when you contract out our community facility to a foreign businesss who's main focus is to make money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the pool. The rapids were so much fun for the kids and us parents as well. Indoor hydro slide for extra fun. Our daughter very much enjoyed the inflatable ladder walk. Extra points for bilingual signage in Te Reo and English. Ka pai!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great event. Apart from the shearing the wool handling was a really great event to watch. It was the initial reason I visited Masterton from Sydney and also to visit my son and family. I got a picture of myself with the Australian Team which was a great treat. I was also able to go out the back and see what was happening to get the sheep in. Australia to win next year?

We went there on a hot summer day, arrived at 4:45 pm, asked at reception till what time it will be open. They said till 6pm. Ok. 20 dollars to enter for a family of 5.
Discovered that the hydro slide is closed, because of too hot weather. (Of course, when else would you normally use a swimming pool? Why would anyone go there on a hot summer day? Why would you want to use a slide on a hot summer day?? ?Haha) .
Spa pool also closed “for cleaning”. Again - why would anyone clean it on a hot summer day? Why not clean it in the evening?
The diving pool outside was also closed ? opened for 10 minutes at 5:30 pm and closed again.
At 5:40pm staff started collecting equipment and by 5:45 asked everyone to vacate the outside pool.... I though that lady at reception said they were open till 6?
All in all - we expected much more from this well advertised swimming pool. Reality is - just an ordinary pool, same as any other public pool.
