★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was by far the best surfing lesson we ever had. Sandy Bay is a great beach, Simon and his dog were fun and he took all the time we needed and answered questions.
After going back to Germany, they even sent us T-Shirts we ordered via E-Mail - splendid and friendly service. When coming back to NZ we will be back at Sandy Bay surfing with you guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tutukaka Surf took 2 of my kids and 5 of my nieces and nephews for a surf lesson this summer, and they all loved it. Wetsuits and boards provided and awesome local instructors. Really friendly and easy going, well organised and fun set-up. And I got to surf for 2 hours while the kids were having an awesome time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked surf lessons for our 11yr old for 2 days. On both days the instructors were unorganized and late getting set up. Spent 15_30mins just standing around waiting for them to get sorted.Hardly taught much and spent only an hour in the water. My son enjoyed the surfing part of it and did have a boost to his confidence in the end. Good if you need something to occupy kids.
