★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiting for someone and purchased a Magnum ice cream from the store. Paid $3.90. Right after I paid and started opening it the shopowner told me to get out of the store. I said are you serious? She then responded and said if I open and eat it I needed to get out of the store. I guess she is implying that I might dirty the floor with the icecream.
With respect, she sells food in the store. Her store was not clean anyway to begin with. There is a legitimate expectation that someone may want to promptly open the package (particularly if hungry or wanted to try a particular icecream flavour one never tried before). It felt like she wanted to get rid of a customer right after payment. That is really not cool.
