★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Ordered Mithaiwala special thali. Very disappointed with the taste and the rice was not cooked well also soy curry was the old one not fresh . Bcoz of that, my mate got a stomach ache and they were not even ready to accept it.

It was very good to see the customer service. ?
They have their small car park as well for customers so no need to care about parking.
Good quality of food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the shop with my daughter who has started to speak and communicate (1 year old). The shop opens at 0900 am but I was informed that the kitchen opens at 10. I saw some kachori on the counter and when I asked if they were ok to buy I was rudely abused by the person at the counter ( a young boy who barely speaks English and speaks rough and crude Hind which civilised people won’t speak in front of kids). I spoke calmly to the man but he was in a bad temper. The manager came out too. The man was abusing in from of my kid. Both the Manager and the person at counter was unapologetic to being abusive and in fact suggested abusing in front of small Kids is ok as they don’t understand what we speak.
Anyone reading this post must be cautious when they go to shop. Normalising this behaviour by management is regrettable and only further attenuates the bad press Indian owned restaurants get. I hope common sense prevails and the management apologies. Because I am going to take the case further with the authorities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience, we saw the freshly cooked samosa so we decided to order for takeaway. However gentleman at counter gave ALL the refried dark looking samosas on the side tray, clearly not the fresh one on display.
We requested to swap atleast 2 from the freshly cooked samosa thats on display. We didnt touch the samosa we politely asked to swap atleast 2 and we can take the rest.
He was pushing the bag at us, declined our request, rushing us to pay and didnt listen, gentleman serving was so rude, he even said to cancel the order so we did and we left instead, terrible service.☹️☹️☹️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm regular customer for this restaurant for long time and noticed kachori (onion and daal) is uncooked most of time and very thin compare to other Indian restaurants in Auckland. We can see the white all purpose flour in the photo. Hope, they will improve.
