★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were given "The booth" in the back house, this was a lovely wee space and even though there was a large booking in the adjacent main room it was private enough to have own conversation without being disturbed.
The coffee was excellent and my gluten free brunch scramble was lovely and tasty..... This was all brought together by a lovely attentive staff. Excellent place - recommend!!!

All the staff are friendly and helpful but yesterday we had particularly good service. Tom and Siobhan were just top notch and we left feeling very happy.
The food, as always, was top class.

Nice selection of food from bakery items to complete meals. Coffee is great, service from the staff is outstanding. Always a great place to chill for a break. Outside seating extends the cafe for those that prefer the outdoors.
Locally owned and operated. Food sold is baked on site and is of a high standard. Definitely a cut above your average bakery or similar cafe. These operators deliver a cozy neighbourly atmosphere, very friendly helpful staff, competitive prices, great tasting food.
Highly recommended place for a break or just great quality food.
Having been here many times, I can say that it just keeps maturing with age. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After walking-in twice and not being able to get a table, we pre-booked and we're so glad we did. It is very popular during the weekends, so you should pre-book so you don't miss out (esp. on a nice sunny day).
Once we were settled in, we ordered coffee and brunch. The oat pancakes and big breakfast were delicious and still hot. We did overhear that it may be a 45 min wait for food/coffee however our order came out quickly.
Moving from Melbourne, we have never seen a "bowl" as an option for coffee sizes, so we gave it a go. It's $6, and it was worth it for us.
The wait staff are friendly and the vibe is comfy and fresh. Definitely reminds me of Brunswick. Would definitely be coming back.
