John and Erin opened the showroom Urban Abode Interiors in Havelock North in 2004 after moving to Hawkes Bay from Auckland.Johns experience in Soft Furnishing spans his working career beginning in 1970 and he has been involved in furnishing thousands of Homes and Commercial Projects throughout New Zealand.
His knowledge and expertise of Products and Textiles is unsurpassed and he is as passionate today as he was at the beginning of his career. John is hands on and is involved with all installations large or small to ensure the successful completion of projects.
ERIN WALKER
(Director)
Erin has an extensive background in Soft Furnishings also. She completed an Interior Design Diploma and will offer valuable assistance and input into any project.
Erin likes to work with her clients and help them develop their own taste and leave them with a style of interior that above anything else works for them. With a passion for colour and texture she loves a home to feel warm and approachable.
We always work as a close team and our goal is to fuse creative and flexible decor and design with practical everyday living.
SHOWROOM
Our Showroom is a great source of inspiration and we encourage our clients to browse at leisure. We have a Design Fabric Resource Library to access as well when looking for that special Fabric Upholstery or Wallpaper.
Our fully computerised workroom ensures tracking and quality control throughout production and delivering your order to your exact specification.
From concept to completion you will enjoy the benefits of our professionally trained team and we will strive to make your decorating experience an intimate and pleasurable one.
WE WILL COME TO YOU
To see samples in your own home or for professional advice we offer a Free in Home Consultation service anywhere in Hawkes Bay. We will call weekdays & evenings plus we are happy to include weekends to suit our clients when required.
