β β β β β Went in today, was told by a younger employee that we can sit down at a dirty table which she said she'd clean up for us - 15 minutes later the table was not clean and no one had served us. I understand that it's busy, but it doesn't make up for the fact we did not get served - ended up going somewhere down the road.

β β β β β Ordered a bagel today. The server said they would toast it in the oven but it was microwaved instead & I had great difficulty cutting the part that I ate. I gave it back to the manager & said it would be appropriate to give me a refund or discounted. This wasnβt taken up so I left the cafe & turned around as I left. The manager & assistant weβre laughing & I said it wasnβt funny. They replied that they were laughing with the chef. I wonβt be going back. Plenty of other cafes in Howick.

β β β β β Best big breakfast I've had from any Cafe I've been to. Everything on the plate was perfect. The baked beans are a must try! The owner is a great bloke, definitely will be back in the future.

β β β β β Usual place for me to grab my morning coffee as they serve pretty good coffee and service is generally pretty good too. Have dine in a few times too and overall the food was quite good. Probably one of the better cafes in the area.
