β β β β β Won't be back. Had no lamb dishes available, chicken ones were OK but the starters were sub par, the parantha bread and pulau rice were both the worst versions of each dish I have ever had - I suspect microwaved leftovers

β β β β β It is a fair enough place located in Prebelton township. They r open from 4.30-9pm in the evening if I am not mistaken. They have only one table with 4 chairs may be they offer takeaways. Mondays, Tuesdays they sell butter chicken for 10$ without rice. You might need to ring the bell at the reception once u want somebody to attend u. Their chicken, vegetable buriyani is comparatively larger to other Indian takeaways for 18$ that is a fair price. But it is nit as a usual buriyani u come across, it is a vegatable mix as well. . They r not continously open from the morning. So, it is better to check on Google if they r open before u go..

β β β β β Very very nice authentic Indian food. I find in Christchurch, most Indian takeaways kiwi-ize Indian food so much that it tends to get too creamy or sweet that it loses its authentic tangy taste. I rate the tikka masala (real tandoori chicken served with it) and great price too. Lived in Dubai for 2 years and very very few Indian curry is sweet.

β β β β β Ordered a couple of cheese an garlic naans and samosas on the phone for pickup, this was the first time ordering from here and when I arrived I was blown away at how filthy & run-down the shop was. After ringing the bell to get service a very young child came out to take my payment. After arriving home and opening the naan it was very doughy and did not taste good at all so we threw them out. After this I cut open one of the samosas and it had a really off-unpleasant smell so we didnβt even try them and threw them away to. Sorry but I will not be coming back.

β β β β β Iβve never reviewed a place badly, but I feel like this review needs to be shared.
When I called up to place an order, a young child answered the phone and at first said nothing at all, and then when I asked to place an order and asked for the food she said βI donβt think we have thatβ and continued to say this until i finally mentioned butter chicken. She asked me how hot I wanted my two meals, and I said the lowest spice available for both. What we received were two completely different flavours and spice. One was spicy, and one was inedible. No flavour at all, just pure pepper. I understand there are different levels of spice, but Iβd expect both to be the same at least, and absolutely not to that extent. My partner and I handle spice quite well but this was horrible. When he went to collect the order , a small child handled the money. I understand that some takeouts allow this , but the children didnβt seem to know what was going on at all. Never ever coming back ?

β β β β β If it would let me put no stars I would!.. they said it would be 15 minutes it was over half an hour.. Some poor young child was behind the counter so we couldn't say what we thought of their awful service. We order a lot of Indian food but never from here again... the actual amount of chicken was very small.. Very disappointed ..they should order elsewhere and compare for themselves

β β β β β The young boy who seems to run the place doesnβt wear a mask, half the menu they donβt have, the spice level is completely all over the show, the food takes about 40 minutes extra to come out, even when no other customersβ¦ overall, what used to be the best Indian in the area is fast becoming the worseβ¦ I would avoidβ¦

β β β β β For a while now, my husband and I had talked about trying out this restaurant.
We finally did. On a Friday night after a 12 hour shift
The young boy that served as well as the gentleman. No masks
An extensive menu on the front window had seafood dishes.
When asked for a seafood, none available. None at all for any seafood dishes although advertised on the front window
We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, lamb Rogan Josh and 2x cheese naan bread
The Tikka masala had more peppers and chillis, for a medium heat. Terrible, and a strange paste
The Lamb rogan josh, approx 6 bits of lamb, in alot of sauce
Cheese naan soggy like it was microwaved
We ended up throwing it out
$47.18 for a very disappointing meal
