★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't been happy for over 2 years. Every time I leave or come home it's just there smack bang in my face full of cheapness. We have sharp concrete edges from poor boxing, the edging/ flashing looking uneven and not straight, the roller door is too small leaving gaps either side, random rivets that aren't the same color and stick out, cheap doors with even cheaper locks, its been placed so high that you need a ramp or new drive to utilize it and the tertis puzzle on the back for the storm water pipes.
We cleared the area of the previous garage and left a smooth clean section/ slab and asked them to place it on the edge of the previous slab so it's further back.. the concrete guy ended up cutting more concrete then he needed to, stacking it leaving a chunk out of our lawn... we told him he's over shot the mark and he promised when he comes to lay the new pad he will add a step beside the side door. Never did, he also left all his mess, more dirt and concrete mix just chilling in front of the door.
The shed was dragged out so long and the build quality poor. Versatile used wood that had major defects and blamed the packing place down south, even did it the wrong color, when we tried to say they had it wrong the manager/ operator basically told us we were wrong. We found the email confirming we were right and the day after the color steel was being ripped off and re ordered.
They wouldn't give us the keys till the final payment, which is fair but then we tried to negotiate the final payment taking into account the defects, faults and mess left behind. He said the guy would come back to clean up but he wouldn't alter the price because "we had to redo the color steel at no charge to you". Not worth 15k.
I'm disappointed nothing was considered or factored in. I was reminded to finally place a review after having another trade turn up to quote doing our driveway last week. He noticed from quite a distance issues with the garage and even said it's classic Versatile, anything to save a buck.
Edit: Owners Response Reply: I don't recall ever talking to you.... "many times", we tried in the garage the day it was completed and it was brushed off and then months later I commented on a Facebook post with you trying to sell these "amazing" kit sets to others and you asked me to contact a generic email. Don't try discredit my review by saying you tried... you didn't. Then you offer a ramp but it'll be quoted... so more money to fork out fixing a problem you created.
