★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had my Grandfathers 1930 Ford Model A restored at Dittmers and they did a fantastic Job! The car was dropped off to them in a thousand pieces and they took the time and patience to work through the rebuilding process. They had to wait for us to supply missing parts and make calls on what to do with certain bits, it was such a fun experience. All we knew was a rough colour so Dittmers took the time to paint some test cards and showed them to my granddad to pick. The car came out of the shop looking immaculate and we couldn't have asked for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the very cheeky and doggie place .they rang me ,my car is ready to go after repaired rear bumper damage(quote for fully replace)left the key on the bonnet and parked by the road due to covid restriction.when i pick it up,had a look and found some parts are vey loose and old.then I yelled out to guy who was in the office. He came and had a look and agreed with me, the job wasn't finished. Then checked from the office and they said those parts already ordered and haven't come yet due to ran out stocks in Toyota nz. He promised once he got the parts will ring me to rebook a time to finish the job.
Two cheating were there, they didn't finished the job and they didn't even tell me until I asked, and still waiting for the parts and the other thing is I'm still waiting and I haven't got any call from them to rebook for finish the job as he promised me.
This is kind of money stealing from the innocent customers is not tolerable.so if you go with them be very careful of the kind of scams from these guys.im not happy and throughly not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It took two months to get car in for a repair. Then another month to finish the repair. No quote was provided until I had to ask for it after they found some damage which caused the pick up to be delayed twice. Still not sure what that damage was. And then they tried to give the car back without fixing the wing mirror! Which is what it was in for in the first place. Then they said it wasn't on the initial quote, even though they photographed it! So I had to wait another 2 weeks and chase them up again when the wing mirror took to long to arrive. It was mostly just the over promising and under delivering that made it so frustrating. Definitely don't want the headache of going there again. And will try some place not so busy and disorganized.
