★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was good enough and the atmosphere was awesome. I had a steak which was ok but would not recommend the mushroom sauce as it is pretty ouch plain gravy with chunks of mushroom through it.

Their surf and turf meal is just amazing. Best meal ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a roast pork meal here on the 11th May. Was possibly the worst meal I have ever had. Not a potato in sight or even a hint of anything green. Was dished up a plate of overcooked pumpkin, kumara and carrot, with undercooked parsnip. Topped with the toughest pork ever, could not eat it, it was so tough. I'm not sure what they did to the crackling, it looked so disgusting I wouldn't even attempt to try it. Absolutely terrible!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place and I had a very good steak with mushrooms sauce. The atmosphere was relaxed. Service was good and the barman was very helpful.
Worth trying out particularly because the heat pumps on cold made it comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go for a drink or food, the steak was well cooked and presented. Nice atmosphere and on Wednesday nights they have a Quiz night, thoroughly enjoyed by myself and 2 work mates. Will be back next time we're in Cromwell

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just polished off an absolute pearler of a meal at the Victoria Arms Hotel. I chose the chicken snitzel with mushroom gravy, with two big meaty coated chicken breast that could near on feed a family of four, and the most perfect mushroom sauce I've ever had! Hands down cracker pub meal!
