★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr James Au, and the process went very smoothly, with as little discomfort as possible. The practise manager Jo was also kind enough to make sure I arrived home safely after the procedure. Can't recommend this practise enough - the team are very friendly and professional and I'm stoked to have found a dentist I finally trust and enjoy going to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say that if you are looking for a dentist in the Wellington area, or if you are in NZ and don't mind traveling, come and see James, he is super professional, very easy going, makes you feel relaxed, cares about what's best for you and gets the job done in the best way possible.
Shout out to Jo for being a great assistant and making the whole experience even better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would give more stars if I could. Wonderful, proffessional service. James is a fantastic dentist and evidently takes great care to ensure you're as comfortable as possible. The assistant was just as lovely and skilled. Prices are great, and so are the comfy, squishy chairs. I didn't feel any pain, which is so far from my last experience at another dentist where I had tears rolling down the sides of my face. I received no judgement for neglecting to visit a dentist for many years, and my fear of going to them has now disappeared. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a pain free, proffessional, expert and welcoming clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have visited Emily at Victoria Street Dental as a new patient for a bit of work and I couldn't rate Emily or the practice highly enough. They took such good care of me in the chair and were super empathetic and kind! Emily explains everything that is happening and gives good, honest advice about what the best treatment plan is for you.
The practice itself is super clean and modern and the equipment they use is all well kept and modern too. You definitely feel like you're in the right place when you sit in the chair!
Prices are super competitive with other central dentists and I would argue their quality of work is superior to any other practice I've visited in Wellington. Thanks heaps again team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best dentist I have ever seen in Wellington. James was professional and courteous. I went in for an examination, x-rays and a thorough clean. James made the effort to ensure the process was as painless as possible. He also took the time to explain my x-rays and how I can improve my flossing technique. I really like how they are transparent with the approximate cost on their website. My one hour appointment was $236, which matched what I was expecting. The receptionist, Jo, was also very friendly and chatty, which helped put my nerves at ease.
