About Vilders gallery
Dorthe has been teaching jewellery classes for the last 19 years in her workshop in Aro Valley.
Options are either a 6-week course, or a monthly single day workshop.
There is a limit of 8 students in each class.
6 Week Course
Thursday: 6.30pm – 9pm
Friday: 9.30am – 12pm
$300 + materials
Workshop
Once a month: 10am – 4pm
$140 + materials
Students learn to make a variety of items including rings, brooches, earrings, chains and pendants. Dorthe also offers the opportunity to make your own wedding rings.
The materials are supplied during the course at reasonable prices.

After a video chat, and a look through her website I sent them all off to her. (we were in lockdown so couldnt make the trip to Wellington). Dorthe did her magic and very quickly the three rings I sent had become one and I just LOVE it. Dainty just doesnt suit my hand so I love the solid, unpolished look. I am delighted with my new ring and can highly recommend Dorthe.
