The closest restaurant to Vineyard Cottages is a three minute walk across the vineyard to The Hunting Lodge. The restaurant is open from Wednesday Night to Sunday Afternoon. The lawn bar at The Hunting Lodge provides platters and quick snacks.
Hallertau Brewery is a 10 minute drive from Vineyard Cottages and has fantastic food.
The Woodsman in Kumeu is one of our favourite eateries in the area. Fun, local, family eating.
The Tasting Shed is fantastic for all occasions. We highly recommend you book if you are coming to stay. We are happy to drop you down to the restaurant and they will (on arrangement) bring you back to Vineyard Cottages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been amazing, cottages are really nice and well kept. Love the wood finishes everywhere and the old school look and feel. The nice and simple continental breakfasts is great, home made plum jam absolute win.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't actually get to stay there thank goodness "Bad" communication wouldn't answer emails then put prices up ,we were booked in as a group wedding party bride and groom prepaid when ask for refund because of covid lockdown that's when the fun started, then made a very rude comment in refund deposit !! So professional NOT !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We prepaid our wedding accommodation out of the goodness of our heart, unfortunately we both went into level 4 lockdown for our booking/wedding. Upon rebooking a month later Elle rebooked us and advised of a price increase, i questioned the price increase as we prepaid and to book online would work out cheaper than what she was offering us, no response, I’ve emailed again for a refund and she’s still not responding. My advice would be to book online and only pay on arrival.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One out of the box - this was like a visit to the UK including a cooing pigeon in the trees. Lots of fascinating items and decor in the cottages, luxury bedding and a log burner for warmth and ambience. Excellent wines and dinner next door for a walk through the vineyard. Great hosts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sunday 27th March. A weekend we will never forget. The cottages are so rustic, yet modern. The setting olde world enchanting. The hosts amazing! We felt like we were being pampered all the way. They genuinely cared for how we felt and showed interest in all our chaotic organising for the wedding. Our family and friends would highly recommend their cottages for an escape weekend, or more. Five Star+

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were super friendly and quick to respond when messaged ahead of time with questions. Easy to find and easy to locate our own cabin. Firewood was delivered and breakfast in the fridge while we were at our event which was lovely to come back to. Bed was comfy and warm. Overall good night and place to stay
