★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been a customer of Rodney Wayne and felt like a change so visited Vivo and saw Wendy. I will never be going back to Rodney Wayne again. Wendy is Amazing, she took all my requests, sorted me out and had me leaving the store feeling like a new woman. Then I got called back for a 'check up' to make sure that the color took etc. and after 1.5 hours was told this was a complementary service and was no charge, which made me even more impressed. I LOVE Vivo and will definitely be back, Wendy is AMAZING.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my hair done at Vivo Te Atatu today. When it came to the end result, I was very satisfied. I love my hair, so thank you for that. However, I found my experience a little bit awkward and quite rude at times. I felt like I was almost being laughed at for my hair and had no idea how to react in the moment so I kind of went along with it. The last thing I want to feel when getting my hair done is as if I'm being judged. If I didn't want my hair to be "fixed", I would never have come in. After explaining that I had allowed my daughter, who we had been in Starship with for the last 3 months, to tie up and cut my hair, I get told a bit of "advice" while chuckling and saying "next time, try and put the pony tail in the middle". While she was thinning my hair, I asked the question out of curiosity, "can you overdo it sometimes when it comes to thinning hair?" and she laughs and says "ha! Not when it comes to your hair!". As hairdressers, I think maybe try to laugh less or judge less and just help your clients to achieve what they would want their hair to look like. Talk them through what they want, rather than laugh at the state their hair is in when they walk through your door. If I had it in me, I would've walked straight out. Just be a bit mindful of your comments. They can either be taken one way or the other.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely in love with my colour by Javi today. She did an amazing job on my hair, so many compliments already. It's the best colour I've ever suited. The rest of the staff are also lovely & friendly. My new salon from now on. See yall next time.
